侯仁之（1911—2013），历史地理学家，北京大学教授、中国科学院院士。侯仁之是中国现代历史地理学的重要奠基者和开拓者，主要从事城市历史地理、沙漠历史地理，以及中国古代地理学史、历史地理学方法论方面的研究，在理论与实践两方面为中国历史地理学的发展作出了重要贡献。 主要代表作有《历史地理学的理论与实践》、《历史地理学四论》、《侯仁之文集》、《北平历史地理》等，主编《北京历史地图集》、《北京城市历史地理》等。

POUNDS，1912—2006），英国地理学家和历史学家，曾执教于剑桥大学，后移居美国。庞兹著有三十余种著作，涉及自古及今的欧洲历史地理，其中代表作品有《欧洲历史地理》《英国堂区史》等。 王大学，历史地理学博士，复旦大学历史地理研究中心副研究员，主要从事历史地理学、环境史与历史地理信息系统（HGIS）研究，主要著作有《明清“江南海塘”的建设与环境》。曾获得2009年上海市优秀博士论文奖、2011年第四届谭其骧禹贡历史地理学奖。 秦瑞芳，世界史硕士，主攻中世纪民族史，复旦大学图书馆馆员。 屈伯文，同济大学博士，现于深圳大学理论经济学博士后科研流动站从事研究工作，主要研究方向为近代早期西方军事史。译有《西方文明的统一》《跟着圣经去考古》等著作
